Senior Supplier Relationship Manager / Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Travel between Manchester - London required (remote working options)
Contract - 6 months

Our client is seeking a Senior P&SC Manager (or Senior Supplier Relationship Manager) to lead the development and continuous improvement of supplier performance management across the business. Working closely with procurement teams, operational stakeholders and suppliers, you'll drive performance monitoring, reporting, supplier reviews and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance, transparency and value are delivered throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior P&SC Manager / Senior Supplier Relationship Manager you will:

  • Support the implementation of supplier relationship management (SRM) frameworks
  • Facilitate supplier performance reviews and corrective action plans
  • Develop reporting dashboards that provide meaningful performance insights
  • Improve existing processes, tools and systems
  • Identify opportunities for digitisation and automation
  • Manage supplier performance platforms
  • Ensure sustainability, safety and compliance criteria are embedded within supplier evaluation activities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to promote best practice, deliver training and support reporting to senior leadership teams

Requirements

Essential:

  • A-Level, BTEC or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within procurement, supply chain, SRM or performance management environments.
  • Strong supplier and project management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Experience driving change, process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and data management capability.

Desirable:

  • Membership of a recognised professional body such as CIPS, CPSM, CDMP or DAMA.
  • Infrastructure sector procurement and supply chain experience.
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation.
  • Knowledge of KPI development and performance reporting.
  • Experience with cloud-based procurement and supply chain systems.
  • Understanding of sourcing, contracting and supplier management processes.
