Job Description
Lead visits to key supplier sites to identify performance issues and coordinate improvement plans, including purchase order alignment, process improvements, and quality system improvements.
- Expedite critical parts from key suppliers, remove roadblocks, and prevent disruptions to the production line.
- Work with suppliers to create and maintain a recovery plan back to purchase order (PO) requirements using aligned Lines of Balance (LOB), with daily follow-up.
- Work with key internal stakeholders to define a clear supplier intervention plan, follow up on actions, and ensure a smooth handover.
- Identify supplier improvement and risk mitigation opportunities and manage the related activities.
- Lead the execution of supplier performance improvement plans and work with internal and external partners to find solutions and close action plans.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Quality, and Operations to develop supplier improvement plans focused on quality, delivery, capacity, and process capability.
- Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on supplier support and improvement activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams and ensure issues are escalated appropriately.
- Conduct thorough onsite reviews of supplier capacity and capabilities, identify gaps, and establish clear action plans to address them.
- Manage your own business travel, including reservations, follow-up, expense claims, and financial reviews.

- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Strong knowledge and experience in manufacturing and production.
- Experience working with sub-tier suppliers.
- Highly independent and comfortable working with new suppliers with limited information.
- Experience planning and coordinating projects involving multiple departments or business areas.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks at the same time.
- Strong sense of ethics and a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of operational and financial management is an asset.
- Understanding of the business relationship and dynamics between suppliers and Bombardier.
- Strong communication skills and good knowledge of BA systems.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
