Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of our suppliers and their products. This is a proactive, hands-on role that bridges engineering, procurement, and supplier development to maintain the highest standards across our critical supply base.

You’ll work with a wide range of specialist and low-volume suppliers—many producing bespoke components for high-performance EV applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and onboarding to ensure capability, quality, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain supply chain quality standards and processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to validate supplier manufacturing methods and control plans.
  • Feedback non conformance to suppliers, following up for containment, rectification, future prevention.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for supplier quality issues (8D, Ishikawa, etc.).
  • Develop and monitor supplier KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support initial sample inspection, incoming quality control, and documentation verification.
  • Build and maintain strong technical relationships with suppliers across mechanical, electrical, and composite domains.
  • Ensure traceability and conformance for safety-critical and performance-critical parts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
