Responsible for Leading the supplier quality activities at the Cytiva Newquay site under the management of the Discovery and Medical Supplier Quality Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Issue, monitor and approve Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
  • Provide meaningful feedback and collaborative support on RCA with suppliers.
  • Able to provide support on improvements to supplier as needed.
  • Maintain qualified auditor status, able to train team members, and lead remediation activities due to failed audit.
  • Support development and management of annual supplier audit program.
  • Review, assess impact, communicate with internal stakeholders and Supplier on supplier change requests.
  • Escalate critical SCRs accordingly with relevant stakeholders and able to progress records according to requirements.
  • Support containment and correction for supplier defects and document accordingly, able to own and execute quality event tasks and train colleagues on process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing, QA, etc.) on all activities required to effectively manage supplier quality requirements, supplier onboarding, and supplier monitoring
  • Create inputs for Management Review, provide meaningful insight.
  • Support Daily management and develop supplier quality related actions plans as needed

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent non-technical discipline with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality assurance.
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality experience preferably in applicable or similar field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier on-boarding, supplier auditing, and supplier communications.
  • Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations (e.g. ISO, CFR, GMP, etc.)
