Location:
Gaydon, Warwickshire
Hours:

At Aston Martin, quality is at the heart of everything we do. From world-class engineering to iconic luxury vehicles, our success is built on delivering exceptional standards to our customers. We are now looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Leader to join our Quality function and take ownership of supplier quality performance within our Chassis and Body Mechanisms commodity area.
This is a pivotal role where you will lead supplier quality activities throughout serial production, ensuring issues are contained effectively, root causes are identified, and robust corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence. Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement, support production continuity, and help deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
As Supplier Quality Leader, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving supplier performance through data-driven analysis and structured problem solving. You will manage supplier concerns from containment through to closure, reviewing corrective action evidence and challenging responses where necessary to ensure sustainable improvements. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing and Supplier partners to mitigate risks, resolve quality concerns and maintain production output.
A key part of the role will involve reviewing supplier processes, conducting audits and ensuring effective change management controls are in place. You will support APQP activities, AMPAP/PPAP approvals and running change management while leading supplier escalation activities and recovery plans where performance falls short of expectations. You will also provide regular reporting on supplier quality performance, risks and improvement actions to senior stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
