Description

As a Supplier Relationship Manager (Design Engineering Consultancy) at Foster + Partners, you will play a key role in shaping and embedding supplier relationship management across a world-renowned global practice. Working with project teams, design disciplines, engineering teams and external partners, you will drive supplier performance, strengthen strategic partnerships, reduce supply chain risk and unlock innovation across a portfolio of design, engineering and specialist consultancy suppliers.

This role is ideal if you want to:

  • Build and lead a supplier relationship management framework that creates lasting business impact.
  • Influence strategic supply chain decisions across a global and highly collaborative organisation.
  • Develop strong partnerships with leading design, engineering and specialist consultancy suppliers.
  • Champion sustainability, innovation and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver value, manage risk and drive performance.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Proven experience delivering value through procurement or supplier relationship management within a professional services, architecture, engineering or consultancy environment.
  • Strong expertise in developing and implementing supplier relationship management programmes and governance frameworks.
  • The ability to identify, assess and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks in complex environments.
  • Experience of utilising supplier management tools such as Ivalua, Coupa and GEP Smart to enhance supplier lifecycle management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, supported by a commercial and delivery-focused mindset.
  • Experience driving supplier performance, continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication skills, coupled with a proactive, resilient and collaborative approach.
