Are you a fluent German speaker with strong analytical skills and an interest in supply chain, logistics, commodities, or aviation?
World Fuel is looking for a Supply Analyst to join our EMEA Aviation Supply team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the fuel supply chain that supports airlines and airports across Europe.
Working closely with suppliers, logistics providers, airport partners, and internal stakeholders, you'll help ensure the reliable, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of aviation fuel across Germany, Benelux, and Scandinavia. You'll gain exposure to international supply operations, fuel logistics, inventory management, market analysis, and commercial decision-making within a fast-paced global business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and collaborating across multiple teams and countries.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Supply Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of aviation fuel supply operations across your assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Fuel Supply & Inventory Management
- Manage fuel inventory levels to ensure continuous and efficient supply to customers.
- Schedule fuel deliveries into storage locations, ensuring optimal inventory balances.
- Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, airport operators, into-plane service providers, and logistics partners.
- Monitor fuel stocks and proactively identify potential supply risks or shortages.
Logistics & Scheduling
- Schedule and oversee fuel movements via pipeline and road transport.
- Support daily dispatch and delivery activities across multiple locations.
- Manage haulage nominations for self-supply and General Aviation locations.
- Liaise with haulage providers and operational sites to resolve delivery issues and maintain service levels.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Commercial & Market Analysis
- Analyse supply and demand trends across your portfolio of locations.
- Evaluate logistics options and transportation costs to optimise supply decisions.
- Support fuel pricing, supply planning, and inventory strategy.
- Assist with the management of physical fuel positions and associated hedging activities.
Operational Support & Reporting
- Process and verify fuel transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support payment, receivable, and reconciliation activities.
- Develop reports, KPIs, and performance analysis for suppliers and logistics providers.
- Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and service standards.
- Work closely with finance, operations, commercial, and supply teams across the business.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in supply chain management, logistics, commodities, energy, or aviation.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, procurement, or inventory management.
- Experience within aviation, energy, fuel, commodities, transportation, or related industries.
- Understanding of hedging, commodity markets, or price risk management.
- Experience working with large datasets, reporting tools, and business analytics.
- Additional language skills, particularly French or Italian.
