About The Role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Belfast site, supporting purchasing activity and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate processing and monitoring of purchase orders, maintaining purchasing documentation, and coordinating communication across suppliers, logistics, and internal teams. The position plays a key role in supporting efficient stock management, resolving issues, and contributing to smooth end-to-end supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transfer purchase requirements into purchase orders and place orders with suppliers.
  • Process, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain and update all relevant purchasing documentation in line with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Coordinate purchasing-related communication between suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
  • Act as a point of contact for supply chain complaints, managing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Support inbound logistics activities, including tracking deliveries and assisting with import/export administration.
  • Liaise with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve any delivery or stock-related queries.
  • Complete all relevant administrative tasks, system updates, and reporting accurately and on time.
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing and supply chain processes

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in an administrative, purchasing, supply chain, or logistics environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Well organized with good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team.
