Career Level: Consultant (CL9)
Salary: Competitive, plus benefits.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Supply Chain and AI Domain Consultant to join our growing UKI Supply Chain and Engineering Data and AI team. This role is designed for professionals who combine an understanding of supply chain, procurement or operations with a genuine interest and growing capability in Data and AI, and who want to build a career at the point where these disciplines converge.
You might come from a supply chain or operations background and have developed strong data and analytics skills. You might come from a data science or analytics role and have worked in, or closely alongside, supply chain functions. Why this role:
Join an expert, collaborative community at the leading edge of supply chain and AI reinvention. You will benefit from structured development, hands-on client exposure and the opportunity to build a distinctive career spanning data and AI, supply chain strategy, and technology delivery, supported by world-class tools, methodologies and colleagues.
In this role you will:
- Analytics and insight: Conduct supply chain diagnostics, spend analysis, demand and inventory modelling, process benchmarking and network analysis, drawing on data to surface insights and quantify value for clients.
- AI and data application: Help clients and project teams explore, prototype and deploy AI, machine learning and automation solutions for supply chain use cases such as demand forecasting, supplier risk scoring, procurement analytics, planning optimisation and anomaly detection.
- Project delivery: Contribute to consulting engagements through structured problem-solving, hypothesis development, analysis, data modelling and recommendation building, working as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Client engagement: Participate in workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews; capture requirements, translate findings into structured outputs and help communicate recommendations clearly and compellingly.
- Deliverables: Produce well-structured client-ready materials including data visualisations, process analyses, AI use-case assessments, operating model inputs and implementation roadmaps.
- Technology platforms: Work with and learn supply chain, procurement and AI platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Kinaxis, o9, Coupa, Celonis, Azure ML, Databricks and Power BI, understanding both their functional value and their data and AI capabilities. Additionally, work with and learn Decision Intelligence platforms such as Aera Technology and Palantir.
- Practice contribution: Contribute to thought leadership, reusable assets and knowledge sharing; stay current on AI developments in supply chain including agentic AI, generative AI for procurement and AI-powered planning.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
