This is a fixed-term position until March 2027. There may be the possibility of an extension beyond this date, subject to business needs and contract requirements.

The Supply Chain Contracts & Governance Manager is responsible for ensuring effective contract management, strong governance practices, and consistent supplier adherence across our supply chain.

In this role, you will lead the development and oversight of contractual obligation frameworks, support compliance and risk management, and partner closely with Procurement, Legal, and operational teams to drive value and accountability.

The role will also work closely with the Supply Chain Delivery Manager and Supply Chain Clinical Lead to review and manage Quality Improvement Plans and drive Continuous Improvement across the Partners.

Accountabilities

  • Lead contract development and management, ensuring all supply chain agreements are commercially robust, compliant, and aligned with organisational standards by working with Legal and the FAS PIP Supply Chain Director. Varying and updating as required and in line with the contract.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks that support consistent decision-making, risk mitigation, and supplier accountability.
  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and operations to support negotiation, contract interpretation, and issue resolution. Acting as SME on each SCP Contract Schedules.
  • Identify and manage supply chain risks, ensuring controls and mitigation plans are embedded across key contracts and categories.
  • Oversee policy compliance, ensuring SCP adhere to regulatory, commercial, and ethical requirements.
  • Continuously improve contract and governance processes, introducing standardisation, automation, and best-practice tools where beneficial.
  • Oversee and administer formal communications with SCPs; applying the CRF and Contract Change processes where applicable.
  • Provide oversight of all Supply Chain Estates; collating information/data and producing reports to share internally for decision making and with DWP.

Travel Requirements
