Supply Chain Coordinator - 6 month FTC

We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator on a 6 month FTC to work with the Operations teams to co-ordinate the transition of materials and equipment in and out of the warehouse, including stock delivery, transfers, returns, and issue, along with the invoice and payment processes. Liaise with colleagues to achieve excellent customer service, meet business objectives and provide an effective support service to all Operations teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaise with Operational supervisors and trades teams to co-ordinate the purchase, issue and recording of van stocks, plant, tools and equipment.
  • Process and record purchase order requests on Delta Housing systems and dispatch orders to suppliers to enable just in time delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Prepare and process invoices, both paper and electronically, within deadlines and in accordance with Delta Housing's procedures and standing orders, liaising with colleagues and suppliers to ensure coding information is correct and invoices match spend commitment.
  • Monitor planned work appointments in conjunction with the Customer Resolution Centre and Operational supervisors, taking ownership of any actions to ensure requested materials are complete, correct and available for the appropriate appointment.
  • Undertake all stock takes in conjunction with Performance Manager (Planning and Logistics), Operational supervisors and trade teams, monitoring stock held to ensure appropriate levels of emergency call-out and contingency items are maintained.

What we are looking for

  • Previous use of stores systems.
  • Ability to interpret, analyse and manage prices and purchasing information.
  • Experience of invoice processing and E-trading.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
  • Able to prioritise work and manage conflicting deadlines.

Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role will require you to be based in the office full time during your probation period, before moving to hybrid working where you will be required in a minimum of 3 days a week.
