Liebherr Great Britain is recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the SQE team at our Head Office in Biggleswade.
This position will play a key role in the procurement of products and services, while enhancing supplier management and overall supply chain efficiency. The successful candidate will coordinate supplier evaluations, champion adherence to the Supplier Code of Conduct, and support risk management and supplier performance standards.
The role will drive continuous improvement across all aspects of sustainability within the supply chain and will be instrumental in resolving issues and optimising supplier relationships. Working collaboratively with Liebherr Purchasing Services, the Supply Chain Coordinator will contribute to the Company's key result areas: Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, and Leadership.
Your Responsibilities
- Champion adherence to The Liebherr Group Supplier Code of Conduct and Liebherr-GB Supply Chain Policy.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the supplier risk analysis criteria and creating a performance mechanism to ensure suppliers meet Liebherr GB standards and manage potential risks.
- Support the business in reviewing significant supply agreements, including contracts and terms.
- Assist to develop, implement, and maintain a robust supplier evaluation & approval process, ensuring good access for the business on our supplier database, while supporting the Supplier Relationship Management system.
- Carry out due diligence on the entire supply chain including both upstream and downstream suppliers.
- Support in supplier audits to maintain quality and compliance. Assist in the preparation for any internal, customer, and annual IKS audits.
- Establish and monitor acceptance criteria for products and services received, to include permissible quality standards.
- Assist in developing and maintain a complaints mechanism for any product or supplier quality issues. Prepare for any business communication with suppliers in case of discrepancies.
- Identify and escalate any potential savings LGB may make by carrying out contract reviews as well as product and services comparisons and benchmarking.
- Assist to productively resolve supplier issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Identify any training requirements internally to ensure staff competence in supply chain management.
- Assist in gathering information from the supply chain in respect to our Carbon Reporting obligations.
- General administration of all related processes and documentation.
- Effectively present progress and potential improvement to management.

The successful candidate will require the following:
- General office experience either in customer service/sales or purchasing environment.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Good communicator at all levels
- Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills.
