Job Summary
Working within one of our larger Mini Distribution Centres, the purpose of this role is to carry out all aspects of system based stock management, specialising in customer interaction to maximise on internal customer efficiency and accuracy and external sales. This role plays a key part in the customer journey, with a requirement to liaise with multiple departments across the wider Belron UK teams daily.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will be to:
- Contribute towards customer service standards (e.g. customer service targets, delivery times, customer satisfaction measures, flexible approach to changes in customer demands)
- Take responsibility for all elements of system based stock management within the MDC, using the system to manage stock, both glass and consumables ensuring accurate stock visibility
- Liaise with Belron UK departments face and face and over the phone, to support physical and system based stock management
- Contribute to meet or exceed standards in service delivery of vehicle glass and other products and to ensure that Belron UK Ltd quality and other standards are adhered to, and look for ways to continually improve
- Support all opportunities to increase sales and develop the business of Belron UK Ltd, whilst supporting effective cost management and enhancing customer service
- Support the MDC team in meeting or exceeding key performance measures
- Liaise effectively and build strong relationships with both internal and external customers, including Technicians, Supply Chain Hub, District Support Teams and Wholesale Customers
- Follow Health & Safety requirements without exception, including when using manual handling equipment (MHE) and conduct regular self-risk assessments to ensure the safety of yourself and others
- Plan, organise and prioritise workload using multiple applications and computer systems
- Manage information reports relating to stock management of the MDC and associated stock locations within your MDC geographical area
- Resolve complex stock issues to maintain high levels of stock accuracy
- Contribute towards the engagement and effectiveness of the team
- Support the wholesale team activities concerning customer relationships and the MDC wholesale strategy
- Use expertise and knowledge of processes, product journey and internal network to analyse and address issues e.g. missing stock
- Carry out ad hoc activities to support the MDC leadership team

Scale of the role
The Supply Chain Coordinator will typically support up to 150 Autoglass® Technicians, as well as significant wholesale revenue. Supporting a 7 day a week operation.
