The Global Sourcing Supply Chain Coordinator Role
We’re looking for an organised, commercially aware and highly detail-focused Global Sourcing Supply Chain Coordinator to join our specialist luxury packaging team in Gloucester.
Working within a busy, fast-paced office environment, you’ll provide comprehensive support across our global sourcing and supply chain activities, working closely with colleagues, customers, suppliers and our wider branch network.
Our specialist luxury packaging business is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth, with several positive developments creating significant opportunity to build on our existing success and expand further.
This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll coordinate enquiries and quotations, support order and sample management, maintain accurate pricing and production information, help manage supplier communications and delivery expectations, and provide essential administrative support across the team.
With exposure to suppliers across the UK, Europe and particularly China and the Far East, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong commercial office background who enjoys working with systems, data and processes and is keen to develop their supply chain and international sourcing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate commercial and supply chain activities, maintaining accurate trackers for enquiries, samples, customer stock holdings and other key information.
- Respond to internal enquiries from branches and colleagues across our multi-site business, following actions through to completion.
- Liaise with buyers, external customers and suppliers to progress enquiries and ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
- Convert customer enquiries into requests for quotation and coordinate responses from our UK, European and Chinese supply base.
- Prepare, process and follow up internal and external customer quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
- Coordinate samples, payments and approvals, including reviewing, monitoring and maintaining artwork and CAD information.
- Process internal and selected external customer orders, updating price lists and production orders as required.
- Coordinate delivery expectations and communicate updates to internal and external customers.
- Assist with the resolution of customer and supplier queries, including quality and payment issues.
- Provide support across wider supply chain activities including purchase orders, container bookings and production schedules.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, KPIs, contact databases and other commercial information.
- Support customer visits, exhibitions and activities within our Innovation Lab when required.
- Provide general administrative and office support to ensure the smooth running of the wider team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
