Supply Chain Development Data Analyst
About the Role
Ferrero is seeking a Supply Chain Development Data Analyst to support the continuous improvement, performance management, and analytical capability of our UK & Ireland Supply Chain function.
This is a highly visible role that sits at the heart of Supply Chain, providing analytical insights and supporting decision-making across:
- Demand & Supply Planning
- Commercial Logistics
- Industrial Logistics
- Customer Services & Collaboration
- Co-Packing
- Product Flow Management
- Continuous Improvement activities
Acting as a key analytical partner to Supply Chain leaders and teams, you will:
- Transform data into meaningful business insights.
- Enable fact-based decision-making.
- Drive operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
You will:
- Build and maintain data management and analytics programs.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create clear priorities across the function.
- Consolidate, validate, and analyze data across multiple Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure data sits at the core of decision-making.
- Strengthen data quality, governance, and reporting standards.
- Support colleagues in building confidence and capability in using data and analytics.
Working alongside performance management responsibilities, you will play a critical role in supporting Ferrero’s Continuous Improvement agenda. This involves:
- Collaborating with stakeholders in Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and Continuous Improvement.
- Supporting improvement initiatives and benefit tracking.
- Developing standardized reporting tools and analytical processes.
- Enhancing visibility, performance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving Supply Chain Performance Reporting: Ensure KPI and operational data is accurately consolidated, validated, and analyzed to provide meaningful insights.
- Data-Driven Problem-Solving: Use trend analysis, structured problem-solving, and root cause analysis to identify:
- Risks
- Opportunities
- Performance improvement initiatives
- Support business objectives through cross-functional collaboration.
- Developing and Maintaining Reports: Utilize Power BI and Excel to build reporting dashboards and analytical tools.
- Seek opportunities to improve reporting efficiency.
- Automate manual processes.
- Enhance data visibility across the function.
- Performance Review and Strategic Support:
- assist in performance review meetings.
- strategic projects.
- business improvement initiatives using:
- Robust analysis.
- Scenario modeling.
- Decision support.
- Measuring Initiative Effectiveness: Track benefits realization and ensure clarity of performance outcomes.
- Support Data Governance Activities:
- Improve data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Develop standard KPI definitions, reporting structures, and analytical frameworks.
- Ensure consistency in performance management.

About You
To thrive in this role, you will have experience in areas such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, FMCG, or Retail, where you’ve:
- Analyzed data and supported decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and technical capabilities, including:
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
- Worked with analytical models, reports, and data-driven processes.
- Worked comfortably with large and complex datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and translating insights into clear business recommendations.
