Supply Chain Director | London | Food Manufacturing
Are you a commercially minded, hands-on Supply Chain leader who thrives on driving performance, creating structure, and delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
Our client is seeking an exceptional Supply Chain Director to take full ownership of their end-to-end supply chain operation across its manufacturing site. This is a pivotal leadership role within the business, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, improve operational performance, and build a world-class supply chain function that supports ambitious growth plans.
This is not a role for someone who prefers to operate from behind a desk. We are looking for a leader who enjoys being close to the operation, understands the reality of manufacturing, and has the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
On Offer
- £120,000 - £135,000 base salary

As Supply Chain Director, you will lead the full supply chain agenda, from demand planning and forecasting through to production planning, materials management, warehousing, logistics, customer service and delivery.
You will be responsible for ensuring customer demand is translated into efficient, achievable operational plans while optimising inventory, cost, asset utilisation and service performance.
Working closely with the Operations Director and senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in improving planning discipline, driving accountability, enhancing ERP and MRP utilisation, and delivering exceptional customer service.
About You
You will be an experienced and credible supply chain professional with a track record of leading complex supply chain operations within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similarly demanding manufacturing environment.
You are equally comfortable contributing to board-level strategic discussions as you are resolving operational issues on the factory floor.

You will bring:
- Significant senior supply chain leadership experience within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Proven success managing end-to-end supply chains across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Strong experience of S&OP, demand planning, production planning, inventory management, warehousing and logistics.
- Excellent understanding of ERP and MRP systems, with Sage X3 experience highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.
- Experience improving customer service, forecast accuracy, working capital and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- A data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- The energy, resilience and pace required to operate in a high-growth business environment.
