Your Main Responsibilities Will Be:
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Manage supplier order books and purchase order activity.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance in relation to delivery, quality, and cost.
- Expedite critical materials and resolve supply shortages.
- Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Support supplier review meetings and improvement activities.
- Maintain purchasing and planning parameters within the ERP system.
- Ensure purchase order and supplier data accuracy.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Support sourcing and supplier rationalisation activities where appropriate.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Drive inventory improvements to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to support production requirements.
- Manage cycle count activities and inventory investigations.
- Monitor inventory performance metrics and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure all stock movements and transactions are completed accurately within the ERP system.

Warehouse & Goods Inwards
- Lead day-to-day warehouse and stores operations.
- Ensure materials are received, stored, and issued safely and accurately.
- Oversee goods-in processes and timely booking-in of supplier deliveries.
- Manage inventory storage locations and material traceability requirements.
- Ensure warehouse housekeeping and organisation standards are maintained.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
Material Flow & Production Support
- Ensure production teams have the materials required to meet build schedules.
- Manage lineside replenishment activities and material presentation.
- Support Kanban and replenishment processes.
- Work closely with Production teams to identify and resolve material availability issues.
- Escalate supply constraints which may impact customer delivery performance.
- Drive improvements to material flow across the site.
ERP & Process Management
- Maintain supply chain master data and planning parameters within D365.
- Ensure supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, and replenishment settings remain accurate.
- Support MRP and material planning processes.
- Use system and business data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and supply chain processes.

Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop team members.
- Set priorities and allocate workload across warehouse and replenishment activities.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Support recruitment, training, and development activities.
- Conduct regular performance and development discussions.
- Promote safe working practices and compliance with company standards.
Key Performance Indicators
- Supplier OTIF performance.
- Material shortage incidents.
- Purchase order delivery adherence.
- Inventory accuracy.
- Inventory turns.
- Goods receipt processing performance.
- Warehouse transaction accuracy.
- Production downtime caused by material shortages.
- Continuous improvement actions completed.
- Safety and housekeeping performance.
