About The Role
As a Consulting Principal, Supply Chain Management, you will make an impact by driving procurement transformation, category strategy, supplier management, and Procure2Pay Consulting across our clients. You will be a valued member of the Supply Chain Management Consulting team and work collaboratively with senior business leaders, procurement consulting teams, and clients.
In This Role, You Will
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide procurement and category management strategies for our clients, leading procurement transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, governance, and stakeholder satisfaction, and building business cases and sourcing strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive adoption of digital procurement capabilities, automation, AI, and GenAI solutions within procurement functions.
- Partner with senior business leaders to understand requirements and align procurement strategies to business priorities, providing procurement advisory services and futuristic AI-enabled solution vision, and acting as a trusted advisor on sourcing and procurement best practices, operating models, and emerging market trends.
- Build and mentor high-performing procurement consulting teams, developing capability frameworks and best-practice methodologies for AI in Sourcing & Procurement, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

Work Model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring X days a week in a client or Cognizant office in London, UK. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What You Must Have To Be Considered
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or equivalent.
- Proven procurement leadership experience managing or consulting for large global spend portfolios.
- Deep expertise in sourcing & procurement processes for categories including technology, professional services, facilities management, construction, and capital projects.
- Experience leading procurement transformation and operating model improvements, including advisory or consulting experience supporting procurement transformation initiatives.
- Experience working across multi-cultural environments and managing global stakeholders.

- MBA or advanced business qualification.
- Expertise in AI & GenAI for Procurement, and Digital Procurement Platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement, GEP).
- Strong capabilities across Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Contract Negotiation, and Commercial Governance.
- Proficiency in Procurement Transformation, Spend Analytics, Cost Optimization, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, and Procurement Operating Models.
