Supply Chain Manager: World Leading Engineering Projects
Location: Harwell – Oxfordshire (4 days onsite)
A business at the forefront of advanced space communications technology, you’ll be joining a team of highly skilled engineers and professionals, during a time of significant growth and a pipeline of major projects; one of the global leaders within the space sector.
This is a rare opportunity to join a business investing heavily in advanced technology. You’ll be at the forefront of the supply chain and procurement function, ensuring the business has a robust, resilient and commercially effective supply chain, capable to deal not only with current programmes, but also future growth.
Role Overview:
Reporting into the operational director, this role is a mixture of leadership and strategic supply chain development, where you’ll manage a team of buyers and will be required to work alongside engineering, quality, finance and operations. You’ll be expected to develop a clear SC roadmap and operating model, provide advice to senior leadership figures and manage the UK procurement function, often acting as the supply chain representative for the business externally.

What Are We Looking For?
- Significant Supply Chain/Procurement Leadership and Management Experience
- Industry Experience within a highly regulated engineering environment, e.g.: space, aerospace, automotive, defense etc.
- Proven Experience managing and developing procurement/supply chain teams, working at both an operational and strategic level
- Experience with ERP/MRP Systems, Supply Chain Data, and KPI Development
- Procurement Qualifications: CIPS, MCIPS, CIPS Level 6, etc.
