We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end supply chain, covering Procurement, Production Planning, Warehouse and Logistics.
This is a key operational leadership role, responsible for ensuring the supply chain is effectively planned and coordinated — from raw material procurement and availability, through production planning, warehouse operations and finished goods dispatch.
You’ll work closely with our production team to ensure the production plan is achievable and aligned with customer demand, material availability and capacity, while taking direct ownership of the planning, procurement, warehouse and logistics functions.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Take overall ownership of Procurement, Production Planning, Warehouse and Logistics
- Lead the production planning process, ensuring production schedules are aligned with customer demand, stock requirements, material availability and operational capacity
- Use SAP to manage production planning, purchasing, inventory and material requirements
- Ensure raw materials and components are procured and available at the right time to support the production plan
- Manage supplier relationships, including lead times, availability, performance and commercial terms
- Coordinate closely with Production to ensure plans are realistic, achievable and communicated effectively
- Identify and resolve material or supply constraints that could impact production schedules
- Lead and manage the warehouse team, including day-to-day supervision, resource planning, performance management and development
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, picking and movement of raw materials and finished goods
- Take responsibility for logistics and finished goods dispatch, ensuring customer requirements are met on time and in full
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics and relationships with transport providers
- Maintain effective inventory controls, ensuring optimum stock levels while minimising excess and obsolete inventory
- Monitor supply chain KPIs and identify opportunities for improved service, efficiency and cost
- Develop and implement processes that improve visibility and control across the supply chain
- Proactively identify supply chain risks and implement appropriate contingency plans
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements

👤 About You
You’ll be an experienced Supply Chain Manager, Planning Manager or Materials Manager with a strong background in a manufacturing environment.
You’ll understand how the different elements of the supply chain fit together and be comfortable taking ownership of the planning and flow of materials and finished goods, while working collaboratively with Production rather than managing the production function itself.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with:
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience across production planning, procurement, warehousing and logistics
- Excellent working knowledge of SAP, particularly production planning, purchasing and inventory functions
- Experience planning production from customer demand through to finished goods availability
- Strong understanding of MRP, material requirements and inventory management
- Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement activities
- Previous experience line managing warehouse staff
- Experience managing inbound and outbound logistics
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement
