Working closely with both local and international teams, you'll play a vital role in ensuring product availability, maintaining effective supply chain operations, and supporting patients through reliable stock management and distribution. The business is committed to operational excellence, compliance and continuous improvement across its supply chain activities.
Your new role
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels across the UK and Ireland, ensuring continuity of supply and accurate stock control. You'll work closely with international colleagues, logistics providers and internal stakeholders to coordinate forecasting, deliveries, import/export activities and stock reconciliation. The role will also involve producing stock and forecast reports, monitoring logistics partner performance, maintaining shipping documentation and supporting process improvements. In addition, you'll help ensure all activities meet GDP requirements and wider regulatory standards.
Please note - this is a hands-on position with no direct reports at present. It will suit someone who is happy to be in the detail, but also able to support process change and improvements, enabling the supply chain function to scale effectively and efficiently. The business is already growing rapidly with new drugs seeing exponential growth. As this continues, the role holder will be able to recruit into the supply chain team.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management or distribution, ideally within a regulated environment such as Pharmaceuticals or Healthcare. Strong analytical skills, experience with stock reporting and forecasting, and the ability to manage relationships with third-party providers are essential. Knowledge of import/export processes and compliance requirements would be advantageous. Experience of GDP within Pharma / Healthcare sector is a definite advantage, but training can also be provided.
