Your new role
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise the procurement and supply chain operations. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless flow of materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and upholding their commitment to delivering high-precision components to exacting quality standards to their customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing and inventory management, cost control, and process, collaborating closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure operational excellence.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for candidates who ideally have an engineering and technical background from within the aviation or defence industry. Be a self-starter and maximise effectiveness by way of continuous improvement. Be efficient and work to Lean Manufacturing philosophy. Experience managing high value, high precision shipments across multimodal channels to deliver knowledge sharing and processes to the wider team. Experience with preparing budgets and cost management with some or all aspects of logistics. Some knowledge of international trade and customs.

What you'll get in return
An excellent salary with 33 days annual leave with the option to buy an additional 5 days. 5.5% company contributions and a minimum of 3.5% from yourself in the company pension.
