Supply Chain Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic Supply Chain Manager to join our Legumology team.
Overall purpose
Ensuring the maintenance of the Demand Plan through both statistical analysis and regular customer reviews. Linking across internal departments to build a realistic demand profile by customer/product.
Responsible for coordinating the purchase order processing and supply for raw and packaging materials.
Responsibility for production planning of finished and semi-finished goods and arranging inter-site stock replenishment.
Build strong working relationships to control the smooth, timely and cost-effective movement of materials and finished products including the coordination of sales order processing and despatch for all products in the Legumology Brand within UK and for Export.

General Responsibilities:
Demand
- On-going monitoring of finished goods and raw material stocks that targets zero write-off; where risks occur, dealing with all the relevant key stakeholders to minimise waste
- Maintain the demand plan, and review and enter customer forecasts
Purchasing
- Raising purchase orders based on provided MRP list
- Maintaining tracking of inbound shipments
- Verification of documents and cooperation with custom agent
- Assisting with warehouse, finance, and technical queries
- Investigate delivery discrepancies
- Liaising with suppliers/ hauliers and providing bookings
- Managing off site storage and materials movement between sites

Planning
- To ensure that daily and weekly plans are determined and issued in a timely manner including:
- Responsible for generating daily / weekly labour plans that optimise efficiency, minimise cost (yield loss) and satisfy customer demand, making sure all plans are agreed with shift managers
- Ensuring factory part finished stock is in line with targets and any residual stock which is suitable for sale is highlighted
Customer Services - to include advising on availability and answering queries and pro-actively gathering customer feedback
