Job Description
Based within our Supply Chain & Logistics division and reporting directly to Martin Calvert, you will lead a key category area within the Supply Chain Operations team. You will play a vital role in achieving our OKRs, KPIs, and Gousto's strategic goals by taking full ownership of category planning and operational performance.
Working collaboratively across Gousto and with external suppliers, you will drive supply chain excellence, foster team development, and implement data-driven improvements across the end-to-end operational network.
Core Responsibilities
- Leading functions and categories within Supply Chain Operations while providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to support team development
- Highlighting potential risks to key stakeholders during supply chain disruptions to prevent site downtime and leading robust solution mitigations
- Leading comprehensive KPI reviews using Root Cause Analysis to drive performance improvements and operational success
- Analysing supply chain data and trends to develop and implement process improvements that support business OKRs, KPIs, and growth goals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Food, Buying, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Transformation, and Tech, to drive supply chain excellence
- Managing relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance consistently meets operational standards
- Collaborating closely with Supply Chain Operations Managers to address operational concerns and maintain a unified team approach
- Utilising AI capabilities within daily workflows to maximise team efficiency and operational output

Who You Are
- Demonstrating deep knowledge of supply chain management best practices, processes, and systems
- Possessing strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills with a dedication to team development
- Strong in quantitative reasoning, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving
- Communicating effectively across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment with high adaptability
- Skilled in advanced data analysis tools, including Excel and Google Sheets
- Strategic in mindset, with the ability to turn long-term goals into actionable operational plans
