Location: Chippenham
As part of the Pilgrim's Europe way of working, this is an office-based role, with an expectation to work from our Chippenham office 5 days per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Manager to join Oakhouse Foods, part of Pilgrim's Europe.
This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the entire product journey, from sourcing and supplier management through to inventory control, forecasting, logistics, and delivery into our warehouse operation. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring product availability, driving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Working closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance, and external suppliers, you'll use data-driven insights to optimise performance, improve processes, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations from sourcing through to delivery.
- Own and drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, balancing demand, supply, and capacity.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and commercial insights.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure excellent customer service while minimising excess stock and waste.
- Oversee frozen stock planning and Oakhouse branded packaging inventory.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs including quality, service, cost, lead times, and delivery performance.
- Build strong supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement effective contingency plans.
- Support new product launches, promotional activity, and commercial growth initiatives.
- Drive improvements in supply chain processes, systems, reporting, and data visibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

About You
We're looking for a commercially minded and proactive Supply Chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships across the business.
You Will Have
- Experience in a Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, or Logistics leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, supplier management, and S&OP processes.
- Experience managing supplier performance and supply chain KPIs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer requirements with operational performance.

Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, retail, distribution, or a similar environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of warehousing operations, supply chain systems, and process improvement initiatives.
