To build our team we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team, responsible for our Buckingham site.

Your Mission

  • Defines and implements the structural Vision, Mission and Strategy of Buckingham Supply Chain on its Journey to Excellence. They support the future growth of Buckingham and delight internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for all Buckingham Supply Chain processes and activities (Customer Support, Shipping, IBP, Item Control, Logistics (incl. transportation) and Central Warehousing). This includes strategy and design, tactical and resource planning, operational execution.
  • Is responsible for all operational performances (SHE, Quality, Service, Cost and People) of their department and drives the continuous improvement program towards Operational Excellence.
  • Manage and develop the Buckingham Supply Chain team, giving full support to all internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Understand the needs and expectations of our internal and external customer and convert them into effective processes.
  • Lead, inspire, motivate and develop the Buckingham Supply Chain Team.
  • Lead the daily supply chain operations. Constantly align and collaborate with the other departments.
  • With a focus on continuous improvement standardise and optimise current processes around all supply chain activities within Buckingham, including cross-functional processes.
  • Continuously initiate, support & manage supply chain improvements in following areas: material flows, cost reduction and asset utilisation, service level to customers, lead time compression, working capital optimization, collaboration with best value partners, SKU management, supply chain design...
  • Implement and lead a monthly S&OP process for the Puratos Ltd entity.
  • Manage and interpret supply chain KPI’s. Take appropriate actions when needed.
  • Provide management with timely and accurate cost analysis of the supply chain operations and actively propose improvement measures.
  • Compliance: update supply chain activities in accordance with the latest laws, standards or regulations (safety, health, environment, quality…).
  • SPOC for higher management on all UK supply chain related issues.
  • Assure effective communication towards all stakeholders (internal and external).
  • SLA’s (Service Level Agreements): Define, negotiate, implement and follow-up on Supply Chain related SLA’s with internal and external partners and stakeholders.

What We Expect From You

  • Having a Bachelor or Master, preferably in economic science, supply chain or equivalent through experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Supply Chain.
