If so, a global manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to lead both its Planning and Purchasing functions, taking ownership of customer demand, production planning, supplier performance and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

- Leading the Planning and Purchasing teams, managing customer demand through the SIOP process to ensure production, capacity and material plans are aligned with business requirements.
- Managing the production planning process, ensuring customer demand is translated into achievable production schedules through effective capacity planning and SIOP.
- Managing the sales orderbook, monitoring customer demand changes, producing KPI reports, and working closely with manufacturing to ensure delivery performance and operational targets are achieved.
- Driving supplier performance, managing key supplier relationships, implementing cost reduction initiatives, improving purchasing processes and using ERP systems to optimise planning, scheduling, inventory and supply chain performance.
- Coaching and developing the supply chain team, embedding lean processes, improving KPI performance, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and supply chain best practice.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Supply Chain Manager, Planning Manager, Demand Planning Manager or similar leadership position within precision manufacturing
- Strong understanding of both production planning/SIOP and purchasing
- Experienced using ERP/MRP systems
- Strong supplier communication experience
