Kent HR is supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of an exciting Supply Chain Operations Associate opportunity.

This is a key role within a growing organisation, sitting between the Supply Chain Coordinator and Director of Project Management & Logistics. The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring projects, procurement activities and logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities across multiple projects and customer orders, from obtaining quotations and raising purchase orders through to coordinating logistics and supporting accounts payable processes.

Day to day, this includes:

• Leading procurement activity, including quotations, supplier selection, purchase order management and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinating logistics activities including imports, exports, customs documentation, freight forwarders and warehouse operations.
• Acting as the operational lead for supplier invoice management and accounts payable processes.
• Monitoring supply chain risks and implementing mitigation plans.
• Maintaining accurate data across ERP and operational systems and producing management reports.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including occasional supplier and warehouse visits.
• Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
