Supply Chain Operations Manager - Dual Site

Essex and Kent | Up to £48,000 + electric company car + bonus + benefits

Your new company

A confidential client is recruiting for a Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead two Mini Distribution Centre operations near Brentwood and Gillingham. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a supply chain environment, focused on operational performance, customer service, people leadership, health and safety, and stakeholder communication.

The role will suit a hands-on logistics, supply chain, warehousing, inventory, distribution or transport professional who is ready to step into a broader Operations Manager-level role. You do not need to already be an established Operations Manager, but you will need to demonstrate strong people management experience and confidence in leading operational teams.

Your new role

You will be responsible for two First Line Managers across the two sites, with around 20 to 25 colleagues across the wider team. The role will involve supporting day-to-day operations, maintaining service levels, managing operational standards, coaching and developing team members, and working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure products are available when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
