About The Team
You’ll be joining the Joybuy team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Supply Chain Process Development: Design and optimize end-to-end supply chain workflows originating from brand manufacturing facilities into Joybuy retail warehouses. Balance inventory availability against total logistics procurement costs through automated systems to minimize transit times and reduce overheads. Analyze internal retail health metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, aged stock, stockout risks, safety stock levels) to identify structural bottlenecks, and publish clear compliance guidelines (Vendor Inbound Manual) for suppliers to maximize receiving efficiency.
- Retail Automation & System Innovation: Research and evaluate advanced retail merchandising technologies, digital procurement workflows, and intelligent inventory allocation logic (automated replenishment). Drive the integration of digital systems to automate purchase order (PO) generation, inbound scheduling, fulfillment routing, and algorithmic space allocation, optimizing digital operational workflows to improve inventory health and lower retail overheads.
- Data-Driven Process Optimization: Analyze macro retail supply chain operational data (including inventory days of supply, vendor lead times, and end-to-end fulfillment cycle times) to uncover hidden inefficiencies. Architect standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for internal category management and logistics teams, leverage Internal retail operational tools and Warehouse Management System (WMS) iterations with product teams, and enhance seamless data collaboration between all network nodes.
- Project Management & Retail System Implementation: Lead high-impact retail infrastructure initiatives, including the integration of Vendor Centre, automated replenishment engines, and digital procurement upgrades. Coordinate directly with tier-1 vendor partners, internal tech teams, and category operations to monitor rollout progress, system quality, and data integrity, ensuring digital solutions are implemented efficiently to achieve expected business returns.
- Cost Management: Utilize rigorous data analysis and identify structural cost-out initiatives across the 1P supply chain, enabling strategic commercial negotiations with vendors and logistics partners to optimize purchasing processes, reduce operational expenditures, and maximize retail return on investment (ROI).
- Cross-Department Collaboration & Innovation: Partner closely with internal Product, R&D, Category Management (Buying/Merchandising), and Marketing business units to spearhead the intelligent upgrade of the broader retail ecosystem. Support cross-border direct-import initiatives and localization strategies by deploying specialized corporate fulfillment models that elevate Joybuy’s market competitiveness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
