Your new company

This globally recognised, well-established company is committed to ensuring seamless supply chain operations throughout the UK and globally. Its leading services combine a mixture of freight options with the aim of delivering logistical flexibility and cost efficiencies to key stakeholders. They have a new opportunity for a Transport & Pricing Analyst.

Your new role

The Supply Chain Performance Analyst will provide dedicated analytical and investigative support across the companies Haulage and Shipping functions, using operational, commercial and financial data to identify performance trends, risks, losses, cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement. The role will have a strong focus on haulage pricing and transport efficiency, vessel out turns and stock losses, demurrage and despatch, port performance and wider supply chain KPIs.

A key expectation of the role is to go beyond reporting what has happened. The Analyst will take a proactive, investigative approach, following issues throughout the supply chain, challenging inconsistencies between data sources and stripping processes back where necessary to understand why performance has varied and where the underlying root cause sits.

Working closely with operational, commercial and support teams, the Analyst will translate complex data and operational issues into clear insight, practical recommendations and measurable improvement actions. The role will adopt a source-to-solution mindset, maintaining ownership of investigations through clear conclusions and supporting the relevant teams in implementing appropriate corrective or preventative action.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
