SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER
Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland
Working arrangement: Primarily onsite, with 2 work-from-home days per month
Employment: Full-time
Salary: £32,000–£36,000 per annum
Join our team and help turn our production plan into an accurate, achievable delivery plan that gets the right product to the customer at the right time.
We are looking for a proactive, organised and commercially aware Supply Chain Planner to coordinate our day-to-day and forward logistics requirements.
Working closely with Planning, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing and the Supply Chain Manager, you will connect what we plan to produce with what our customers need – ensuring stock, warehouse activity and transport are aligned to deliver excellent customer service.
THE ROLE
You will own the daily and forward logistics plan, making sure transport and warehouse activity are planned around actual production, stock availability and customer requirements.
A key part of the role is looking ahead. You’ll identify potential issues before they affect dispatch or the customer, bring the right people together and help agree practical solutions when plans change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and maintain the daily and forward logistics and delivery plan.
- Turn production schedules and customer requirements into clear, achievable load-out plans.
- Plan, book and confirm transport sufficiently in advance.
- Coordinate collections and deliveries with hauliers, customers and internal teams.
- Work closely with Planning and Production to understand product availability and dispatch priorities.
- Give the Warehouse clear visibility of upcoming loads, timings, quantities and special requirements.
- Identify conflicts between production, stock, warehouse capacity, transport and customer delivery times.
- Assess the customer impact when plans change and coordinate an agreed response.
- Manage day-to-day haulier relationships and challenge late collections, missed bookings and poor service.
- Monitor transport costs and highlight unexpected or excessive charges.
- Take ownership of problems, bringing teams together to find solutions and escalating significant issues clearly when required.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll be a strong planner, communicator and problem solver who enjoys working in a busy operational environment.
You’ll be comfortable managing changing priorities, communicating across different departments and constructively challenging plans when something doesn’t look achievable.
Experience within supply chain, logistics, transport, production planning, food manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead and works collaboratively – solving problems rather than simply passing them on.
