Supply Chain Planning Analyst
📍 Desford, Leicestershire
⏳ 12-Month Contract (Likely Extension)
💰 £22.50 PAYE or £29.49 Umbrella
🕒 37.5 hours per week | Fully Onsite
We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join a global manufacturing organisation supporting a complex, billion-dollar supply chain operation.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to major New Product Introduction (NPI/MPI) programmes and supply chain improvement initiatives, helping shape the delivery of new products while driving efficiency across logistics, inventory, and material flow processes.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting supply chain planning activities for new product launches
- Developing and implementing end-to-end supply chain solutions
- Driving inventory optimisation and material flow improvements
- Supporting logistics and packaging initiatives
- Analysing data and building business cases to support decision-making
- Collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders across global operations
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects and operational excellence
What We're Looking For

✅ 4+ years' experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, or Manufacturing environments
✅ Strong understanding of:
- Supply Chain Planning
- Inventory Optimisation
- Lean Logistics
- Project Delivery ✅ Advanced Excel skills including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Data analysis and reporting ✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with NPI/MPI programmes
- SAP exposure
- Power BI, Visio or PowerPoint experience
- Packaging, logistics, or material planning experience
