- 30-minute lunch break included
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term supply plans to meet customer demand and business needs.

- Manage planning alerts and exceptions, including projected shortages, capacity constraints, excess inventory, and service risks.
- Develop and maintain Master Production Schedules (MPS) to optimize the use of manufacturing resources.
- Monitor inventory levels, weeks of cover, and stock-at-risk positions while contributing to inventory and working capital performance.
- Partner with Material Planning to address component shortages and enable effective execution of production plans.
- Coordinate supply recovery and mitigation activities in response to supply disruptions and operational constraints.
- Contribute to monthly Supply Reviews and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes through scenario planning and risk assessment.
- Promote production plan adherence and identify opportunities to improve schedule stability and manufacturing efficiency.
- Monitor OTIF performance and implement improvement actions to enhance customer service levels.
- Contribute to new product introductions, product transitions, delistings, and lifecycle management activities.
- Review slow-moving, obsolete, blocked, rework, and aged inventory to reduce waste and maximize inventory utilization.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment across the end-to-end supply plan.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning master data, parameters, and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service performance, inventory optimization, planning accuracy, and operational efficiency.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
