Supply Chain Planner

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Planner to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for Cummins West Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

Hybrid 3 days on site, 37.5 hours

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Plan, coordinate, and maintain daily supply chain operations across materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand planning, and order fulfillment to ensure continuity of supply and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor supplier commitments and performance, proactively identifying supply risks and implementing mitigation plans to prevent disruptions to production and customer deliveries.
  • Balance constrained supply across multiple sites, making informed trade-off decisions to optimize inventory, protect critical production schedules, and meet customer commitments.
  • Optimize planning parameters, master data, and system settings to improve forecast accuracy, planning stability, end-to-end supply chain visibility, and reduce reactive expediting.
  • Lead daily planning activities to identify and resolve potential supply chain issues, implementing preventive actions that minimize operational disruptions and improve service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to develop and implement short- and mid-term tactical improvements that enhance supply chain performance and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze supply chain KPIs, identify performance improvement opportunities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma and process optimization projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to Supply Chain Planners by promoting standardized processes, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the supply chain.
