An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our busy Operations team at our head office in Elstree.

The Supply Chain Planner
The Supply Chain Planner is a newly created and key role within our Company, as they will be responsible for managing a smooth and seamless flow of data centre products and information across the supply chain from our factory partners to our customers.
This will involve a high degree of communication and collaboration with various parties in various countries to expedite components and materials to timely deadlines and customer requirements.

The work will involve planning, tracking of shipments, resolving supply chain issues, analysis of supply chain data and forecasting.
The Data Centre business is an exciting field to work in and a sales area our Company is looking to achieve rapid growth in over the coming years, so this is a fantastic opportunity to develop within our Company and make the role your own.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of work experience in supply chain management ideally gained in the data centre or/and telecom industry or similar
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to meet deadlines
- Experience in collaborating across multiple departments
- Experience of managing vendor relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management and able to bring innovative ideas to the role and company
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks
- To be proficient in the use of MS Office (especially Excel) and supply chain software/ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor performance and optimize processes
- Educated to degree level with preferably APICS, CPIM, LEAN certifications or other supply chain related credentials.

Additional Information
Please note that this role will be site-based for 6 months and then will move to hybrid working once training is complete. The Company offers hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
