Agency (Rolling 12 month contract)
Desford, Leicester
£29.49/ Hourly Umbrella Inside IR35
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Supply Chain Planning Analyst (SCPA) to join our team. You will play a key role in development of supply chain plans for a global supplier base of a multi million dollar facility, and continuous improvement across multiple supply chain functions ranging from order to delivery.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will use data and insight to optimise planning activities and improve overall efficiency.
What you will do:
As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst (SCPA), you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Support New Product Introduction supply chain planning activities for all Plan For Every Part elements
- Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop cross functional plans for supply chain development within major NPI projects
- Represent the supply chain in multiple leadership report out forums
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure compatible supply chain setup
- Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in service, inventory, and efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes

Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with supply chain planning
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communicator with ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
- Proven ability to work under pressure to multiple concurrent deadlines/tasks
- Ability to interpret complex data
- Advanced Microsoft Office skill (primarily Excel)
- Collaboration and Negotiation
- Accountable and responsible
- Punctual and timely to business commitment
- Knowledge of logistics planning and/or operations
- Knowledge of internal and external transportation

What You Can Demonstrate:
Supply Chain Planning:
Apply supply chain knowledge to support effective planning processes and ensure alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
Data Analytics:
Use data-driven approaches to analyse performance, identify trends, and drive improvements.
Problem Solving:
Apply structured methods to identify and resolve supply chain challenges and constraints.
Effective Communications:
Communicate clearly with stakeholders in written and verbal forums.
Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively across teams to achieve shared business objectives.
What You May Have:
- Power BI experience
- Project management experience
- Experience working with SAP
- Experience working with various packaging materials and methodologies
