Senior Manager - Supply Chain & Procurement
Defence, Operations & Transformation Consulting
Location: London / Hybrid Working
Salary: £90,000 - £115,000 + Benefits
About the Role
We're supporting a leading consulting organisation as they continue to grow their Supply Chain & Procurement practice across the UK.
This is an opportunity for experienced consulting professionals to lead large-scale transformation programmes across procurement, supply chain, operations, and digital transformation. You'll work with complex organisations to improve performance, reduce cost, redesign operating models, and drive long-term strategic change. Multiple hires are planned as the practice continues to expand.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading supply chain and procurement transformation programmes from strategy through to implementation.
- Designing operating models, processes, and organisational structures to improve performance.
- Developing and delivering category, sourcing, and procurement strategies across complex environments.
- Identifying and delivering cost reduction opportunities across the end-to-end value chain.
- Supporting operational improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and performance.
- Advising clients on digital transformation, automation, and technology-enabled change.
- Building executive-level client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Leading consulting teams and supporting the development of junior colleagues.

What We're Looking For
- Experience delivering supply chain, procurement, or operations transformation programmes.
- Consulting experience at Manager, Senior Manager, or equivalent level.
- Strong procurement, sourcing, and category management expertise.
- Experience delivering operating model design or business transformation initiatives.
- Track record of delivering cost reduction and efficiency programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience within Defence, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Government, or similarly complex sectors would be advantageous.
