Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood – Supply Chain Quality Management Graduate (2 Year Graduate Placement)

In this varied and rewarding placement, you will take ownership of key daily activities within the Supply Chain Quality team. You will build valuable experience in supplier management across a global supplier network and gain a unique understanding of how suppliers, customers and internal departments collaborate within an international supply chain.

  • Coordinate focused escalation meetings directly with suppliers, helping teams agree clear actions and drive timely progress.
  • Oversee the distribution and resolution of Complaint Reports and 8D reports, supporting robust and sustainable quality improvements.
  • Keep supplier contact and Supply Chain Quality activity databases accurate and up to date, enabling effective collaboration and informed decisions.
  • As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will be encouraged to contribute fresh ideas that further develop Supply Chain Quality Management within the Logistics department.
  • Broaden your experience through placements across the business, with the potential to undertake an international placement within the BMW Group.

What You Will Do

  • Support reviews of supplier facilities and systems, helping confirm alignment with quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work with colleagues and suppliers to identify root causes and develop lasting solutions using established tools such as 5 Whys and 8D analysis.
  • Analyse delivery and quality performance to recognise trends, celebrate strengths and highlight opportunities to strengthen the supply chain.

What should you bring along?

  • A bachelor’s degree with a classification of 2:2 or above.
  • A genuine interest in digitalisation and IT systems, with enthusiasm for exploring how technology can improve processes.
  • Confident and effective communication skills.
  • Strong self-motivation, creativity and a proactive approach.
  • Good project management skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to contribute positively within a team.
