Job title: Supply Chain Specialist

Nottingham (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 p/a (dependent on experience)

Are you an organised and commercially minded Supply Chain or Procurement professional looking for your next opportunity? We're looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Operations team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting procurement, supplier relationships, and commercial operations within a fast-paced technology business.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing purchasing and procurement administration activities.
  • Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Negotiating pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Supporting customer quotations, pricing requests, and bid submissions.
  • Processing stock holding and purchasing agreements.
  • Monitoring inventory and helping reduce excess or obsolete stock.
  • Supporting supplier onboarding and ensuring compliance with procurement processes.
  • Working collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Vendor Management, and Operations teams.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve margins, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Supporting rebate recovery, cost-saving initiatives, and ESG objectives.

What we're looking for

  • We're looking for someone who is organised, eager to learn, and enjoys building relationships with both internal teams and suppliers.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Some experience in a procurement, purchasing, supply chain, customer service, sales support, or commercial administration role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with experience using ERP or purchasing systems being an advantage but not essential.
  • A willingness to learn procurement processes, supplier management, and commercial best practices.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with a desire to develop your career within supply chain and procurement.
