An exciting opportunity has arisen for an immediately available Interim Supply Chain Specialist to join a rapidly growing foodservice business with ambitious UK expansion plans. Based in London, you will support the day-to-day management of supply chain and distribution operations, ensuring excellent product availability across a multi-site restaurant network.

Our client is a globally established foodservice organisation currently investing heavily in its UK growth strategy.

Description

The Interim Supply Chain Specialist will provide operational supply chain support during a period of transition while a permanent appointment is finalised. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly integrate into the business and manage day-to-day supply chain activities with minimal supervision.

  • Managing third-party logistics (3PL) and distributor relationships.
  • Supporting the day-to-day supply chain and distribution operation.
  • Monitoring stock availability and maintaining continuity of supply across restaurant locations.
  • Coordinating inbound shipments and supporting import activities.
  • Managing supply disruptions and shipping delays, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Analysing operational data and reporting through extensive spreadsheet use.
  • Working closely with restaurant operators and internal stakeholders to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Ensuring high service levels are maintained across the network.
  • Contributing to operational stability throughout the interim period.

Profile

  • Must be immediately available to start.
  • Proven supply chain operations experience.
  • Essential experience managing 3PL providers and distributor relationships.
  • Experience within QSR, casual dining, foodservice, hospitality, or restaurant environments. Hotel food supply chain experience will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of distribution and inventory management.
  • Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills with the ability to analyse operational data.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Able to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal support.
  • Calm, collaborative, and service-focused approach.
