Role Description
The Supply Chain Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Reading, responsible for coordinating end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Managing purchase orders
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Supporting demand and supply planning
- Liaising with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders
The role involves:
- Tracking shipments
- Resolving delivery issues
- Maintaining accurate data in ERP and related systems
- Preparing reports on stock status, lead times, and performance metrics
The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with sales and operations teams to:
- Align supply with forecasts
- Optimize stock levels at the National Distribution Centre
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in processes and cost efficiency

- Strong skills in supply chain coordination, inventory management, and order processing.
- Experience with demand and supply planning, including forecasting and replenishment activities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and prepare clear reports.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for working with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a structured approach to resolving delivery or stock issues.
- Relevant experience in distribution, logistics, or technology product supply chains is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work on-site in Reading, prioritize multiple tasks, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
