Supply Chain Specialist - Wholesale Team
We're on the look out for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Wholesale team at Morrisons. Do you want to be part of our growth and success?

We have exciting opportunities to join an expanding area of the business and play a pivotal role to create great availability to our existing and new customers.
This role is fast paced and you'll be at the heart of decision making, using data and influence to make improvement and change!
As a member of our team, you will take ownership for outstanding availability to our Wholesale partners and convenience shops in your designated product categories whilst delivering against stock and waste targets to minimise cash impacts to the business. The successful candidate will actively participate in running and improving the business team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Working as part of the business team to provide excellent service availability to wholesale partners and our own convenience business
- Owning end to end data and performance for your categories
- Working collaboratively on strategic improvements for your categories such as: lead time optimisation, driving service to 98%, end to end productivity, lowest cost to serve, exception management
- Developing strong collaborative relationships with the full business team and external stakeholders
- To build and improve current processes and practices with our existing and new customers.
- Analysing data to be able to report accurately on KPI performance and communicate supply chain category performance out to the wider business in a clear, concise way to drive decision making and actions
- Actively managing supplier base and negotiating with suppliers on service performance

About You
So that you are set for success, we are looking for self-starters, who are exceptional communicators with the ability to influence at all levels. You will work as part of a versatile team with a can-do culture, so it’s important that you are tenacious and strive for excellence. We're looking for people who are enthusiastic and ready to make a difference!
We are also looking for the following:
- Previous experience of working with colleagues from all levels of the business, and excellent stakeholder management ability
- Experienced in working at an advanced level in applications such as Excel and Google
- The ability to demonstrate competence at delivering high standards in a time pressured environment
- The ability to work well within a team as well as individually
- Experience in forecasting, data management and interpreting trend
