Exciting Opportunity: Band 4 Supply Chain Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Supply Chain Supervisor within the Procurement service. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and innovative individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a multi-professional team and be able to adapt to an evolving service in order to ensure the continuous delivery of high quality patient care.

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Supervisor within the Procurement Shared Service. The appointment to this post will be based at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Procurement CIPS: The role will be responsible for the implementation of Procurement CIPS as well as leading the Supply Chain team on a day-to-day basis across two sites.
  • Building Relationships: You will be responsible for building up key relationships with internal and external teams, including end users/departments, Finance, and GMs.
  • Service Delivery: Manage day-to-day services in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls, and resource constraints.
  • Team Management: The post holder will be responsible for the management of teams over two hospital sites, service delivery, and support to clinical departments.

Requirements

  • Experience: Experience in Supply Chain is required.
  • Management Experience: Management experience is also required.
  • Adaptability: Ability to prioritize competing demands for the service and learn quickly to understand the complexity of the service.
