About the Role
As a Supply Chain Transformation SME, you will play a pivotal role in helping organizations transform and modernize their supply chain operations through AI-enabled, outcome-driven operating models and innovative business solutions.
You will work with senior client executives to shape, sell, design, and deliver large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives that drive operational excellence, commercial value, and business growth. This role combines strategic advisory, transformation leadership, and business development responsibilities within Capgemini's Intelligent Business Operations practice.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end supply chain and Intelligent Business Operations transformation programs.
- Define transformation strategies, business cases, operating models, transition plans, and implementation roadmaps.
- Advise clients on supply chain planning, customer operations, logistics, inventory management, AI-enabled operations, and performance management.
- Drive the design and deployment of next-generation intelligent supply chain operating models.
- Partner with client executives to establish Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, and outsourcing solutions.
- Lead organizational, process, and technology transformation initiatives.
- Support business development, pursuit activities, solution shaping, and revenue growth opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
- Mentor and develop consulting teams while contributing to practice development, recruitment, and capability building.
- Ensure successful delivery of transformation engagements, managing timelines, budgets, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
What You'll Bring
Experience
- 15+ years of experience across management consulting, supply chain operations, outsourcing transformation, or technology-enabled business transformation.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale supply chain transformation and managed services programs.
- Strong client-facing consulting experience with the ability to shape, sell, and deliver complex transformation initiatives.
- Experience working within one or more of the following industries:
- Consumer Products
- Retail
- Life Sciences
- Automotive

- Experience designing and implementing GBS, Shared Services, or outsourcing operating models
Domain Expertise

Deep expertise in at least one of the following supply chain domains:
- Supply Chain Planning
- Customer Operations
- Procurement
- Fulfilment & Logistics

Strong understanding of:
- Intelligent Business Operations (IBO)
- AI-enabled operating models
- Global Process Ownership
- Service Delivery Models
- Outcome-based commercial models
- Shared Services and Global Business Services frameworks
Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience leading large-scale outsourcing and transformation programs.
- Deep knowledge of supply chain business processes within GBS/SSC environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing future-state operating models and transformation roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of digital, AI, and technology-led business transformation.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior client stakeholders and executives
Your Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
