Supply Chain Planner
Escape Recruitment is working with an established FMCG manufacturer supplying major retailers across the UK, who is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join its busy team.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the operation, turning customer orders and sales forecasts into effective production plans, ensuring materials are available and keeping products moving through the supply chain.
You will work closely with Production, Procurement, Account Managers, Suppliers, and Customers, helping to manage changing demand, solve problems, and keep everything on track.
The role:
- Creating and maintaining production plans in line with customer orders and sales forecasts.
- Planning raw materials and coordinating orders to meet production requirements.
- Monitoring production schedules and adjusting plans as demand changes.
- Analysing sales, forecasts, and stock levels to minimize waste and maintain availability.
- Maintaining accurate product and inventory data within ERP/MRP systems.
- Working with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and support on-time delivery.

About you:
We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in Supply Chain, Production, or Materials Planning, ideally within FMCG or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will have experience of working with production schedules, customer demand, stock levels, or material requirements, and be confident using Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

We are also happy to consider graduates with a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a similar discipline, provided they have strong analytical skills, good Excel ability, and a genuine interest in manufacturing and planning.
Whichever route you've taken, you'll need excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities while building effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
The details:
- Monday–Friday, day shift.
- Some flexibility required to support occasional weekend cover during holiday periods.
