Supply Planner | Food | Reigate, Surrey

We’re partnering with a well-established food business in Reigate that supplies major UK retailers and brands. As part of a newly shaped Procurement team, they’re looking for a Supply Planner who wants real responsibility and the chance to grow quickly in a fast-paced environment.

The role

You’ll keep products available and stock at the right levels across a busy portfolio. You’ll turn forecasts and customer requirements into purchase orders, stay close to suppliers on production, shipping and delivery dates, and act early when shortages, delays or excess stock start to appear. You’ll report to the Head of Procurement.

What you’ll be doing

  • Translating forecasts, customer requirements and lead times into purchase orders, and keeping them accurate and up to date.
  • Chasing suppliers to confirm production, shipment and delivery dates, and pushing for recovery plans when dates slip.
  • Monitoring stock cover, availability and inbound supply, and recommending action on shortages, excess and slow-moving lines.
  • Flagging supply risks early and working with Sales, Operations and Logistics on practical solutions.
  • Keeping supplier, order and delivery information accurate in company systems, with a clear audit trail.
  • Tracking supplier delivery performance and following up on corrective actions.
  • Using data to spot recurring issues and suggest improvements to ordering and stock control.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
