I am excited to be working with a manufacturing company in South Wales that is looking for a Supply Planner to join their team (3 days per week in the office).
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent product availability across manufacturing sites and external suppliers by balancing customer service, inventory levels, working capital, and operational capacity. You'll own key supply planning and S&OP activities, develop robust supply plans, manage supply risks, and use data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Commercial teams, and external partners, you will play a key role in driving supply continuity, supporting business growth, and continuously improving planning performance.

In this role, you will:
- Create and manage supply plans across short, medium, and long-term horizons, ensuring excellent product availability while balancing inventory, costs, and working capital.
- Lead key supply planning and Supply Review activities, providing insights, capacity recommendations, and supply scenarios to support effective S&OP decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks, proactively managing inventory levels to minimise shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence across the network.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Commercial, Quality, Customer Service, and external suppliers to align priorities and resolve supply challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, systems, reporting, and master data to enhance planning accuracy and operational performance.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs, analyse trends and root causes, and deliver improvement initiatives that strengthen service levels, inventory performance, and overall efficiency.

About you:
- 3+ years' experience in Supply Planning.
- Experience within S&OP and developing robust supply plans.
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using ERP systems.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
