Your new company

My client is a global manufacturing business based on the Ellemsere Port Industrial Estate. The role is based in the Supply Chain department, supporting a busy planning team with the operational day-to-day delivery of global planning activities. You will be supporting a fast-moving team!

Your new role

You will be responsible for supporting a busy supply chain team that are responsible for the movement and production scheduling of raw materials. You will be a supporting administrator who can manage processes such as raising and requesting purchase orders, checking stock availability on the ERP SAP, arranging for transport bookings and assisting with import and export clearance documentation production. This will be a busy role where you will be responsible for other back office administration, which you would typically expect to see in a supply chain environment! You will be based on-site full-time in Ellesmere Port with access to ample free on-site parking, excellent on-site amenities and will be working from 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Some flexibility around the working hours can be considered.

What you'll need to succeed

This role will see you utilise your excellent communication skills on a daily basis to liaise with external and internal stakeholders such as the customer service team, and other global warehouse locations. As a critical support function in the supply chain process, your analytical skills and MS Excel know-how will see you support with data management and stock management to keep the production operating smoothly. You will be a keen problem solver, and thrive at finding solutions! Due to the temporary nature of the post, supply chain and/or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. You must be comfortable working fully on site in Ellesmere Port.

What you'll get in return

This role can offer a stable temporary contract for 3-4 months, with weekly pay for your 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday, with preferred working hours being 9am - 5:30pm. You will have an ample hourly rate of up to £15.30ph plus holiday pay, which takes your total rate to £17.24ph. You will have access to free on-site parking, excellent on-site facilities, including a full-service staff canteen, and modern office buildings.
