Supply Coordinator — Global Planning (Planning & Purchasing)

Filton, Bristol BS34 | 3-month contract | Hybrid — 3 days onsite

Description

  • Ensure the availability of finished goods for a defined portfolio of SKUs through effective purchase order management, supplier coordination, and accurate master data maintenance.
  • Support the Global SKU creation process and act as a key link between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely communication and resolution of supply issues.
  • Coordinate the supply of a defined portfolio of SKUs to support customer demand through effective purchase order management.
  • Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date throughout the supply cycle.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery issues and maintain continuity of supply.
  • Escalate supply risks, shortages, delays, or exceptions as required for resolution.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to Purchase Order Management.
  • Monitor supplier deliveries and ensure inbound shipments are booked in and received in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with the Quality Control team regarding quality issues and impact on supply.
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any invoice discrepancies promptly.
  • Raise non-inventory Purchase Orders via Concur, as required.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Master Data

  • Manage the central Global SKU creation process, providing SKU setup support for intercompany partners and selected customers.
  • Analyse and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to SKU creation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate master data for the defined portfolio of SKUs.

QVC

  • Monitor QVC Order Trackers and key Supply Chain Milestones.
  • Coordinate updates between Global Planning, Sales, and Warehouse teams to ensure effective communication and execution of plans.
  • Prepare and manage QVC documentation: delivery notes, QA documentation, and packing specs.
  • Manage Inventory and Purchase Orders for QVC shipping packaging and inserts.
  • Maintain Operational Master Data for QVC SKUs (qty per case/pallet and weight/dims).
  • Escalate supply risks or exceptions to the responsible Planner for resolution.
  • Manage pallet exchange process with QVC.
  • Coordinate QVC Italy requirements.
